MANDATE

• Exercise the powers and duties, and perform the functions of the City Mayor incase of temporary vacancy as provided for in Section 46, Book of the Local Government Code.
• Exercise administrative supervision over the Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

OBJECTIVE

Effectively steer the SP members to actively and productively  participate in all legislative actions, processes, and decision making in accordance  with generally  accepted  Parliamentary Rules and adherence to the approved  internal Rules of Procedure with the end view of enacting measures and ordinances as mandated under Section  458 of RA 7160 otherwise known as the Local  Government Code  of 1991, and in consonance with the Social Contract with the Filipino People of the National Government and with the Executive and Legislative Agenda (ELA) of the Municipality of Buguey.
