FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT

Generate the needed revenues/funds for the Municipality of Buguey and to ensure proper disposition and disbursement of local government funds.

VISION

We, the City Treasurer’s Office, a dynamic department, providing prompt and effective service through enhanced Tax Revenue and Collection System and innovative treasury operations ensuring client satisfaction with competent, motivated, gender-responsive and God-centered personnel, responsive to the needs of the citizens and achieving a self-reliant Municipality of Buguey.

MISSION

To implement effectively and efficiently the mandate specifically provided under the Local Government Code and other ordinances, policies and regulations governing Treasury Operation.

OBJECTIVES

• To be able to collect local revenues to fully support the yearly budgetary requirements.
• To collect, safeguard and disburse funds entrusted by law or other competent authority in accordance with the existing laws, rules, and regulations.
• To render report and advise the City Mayor, Sanggunian, and other local officials regarding disposition of the government funds and on such matters relative to public finance.
• To maintain and update the tax information system of Municipality of Buguey and formulate collection strategies.
